Chicago, April 30, 2005—Home Sweet Bungalow (HSB) exhibited
shower curtains and guest towels made in the spirit of the Arts & Crafts
style at Bungalow Expo 2005 held at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Expo
attendees were treated to over 100 vendors and 50 workshops at this
fourth annual free event organized by the Historic Chicago Bungalow
Association. Bob Yapp; author, preservationist and former host of
the PBS show “House Doctor”, and Paul Duchscherer, bungalow
author and interior designer, gave feature presentations.
The Chicago Bungalow Association estimated that over 8,000 people
attended the event. Each year the event has been getting larger.
And why not? Where else can you find this many experts, aficionados,
artisans and vendors addressing your bungalow needs and wants?
This is a day well spent if you are
looking to remodel, preserve, finance or decorate your bungalow or
Arts & Crafts-style
home. We attended the Expo for the last three years and always came
away with new ideas or products for our home. It was fun to exhibit
this year and to add to the spectrum of tempting wares. |
